We have made it to the ripe old age of 3. After setting up just as the recession started, we feel pretty happy that we are still around 3 years later. Thanks again to all the people we have worked with over the past few years!

We have recently been working on the branding and print for Leeds Museums and Galleries Open Show Project. 2010 marks the first time the Open Show has been opened up to children and young people to exhibit artworks. The upcoming exhibition will show the journey they have taken to discover and celebrate the artistic talents of young people in Leeds.

We are currently sending out this little mailer to attract potential clients. The mailer is made up to look like pharmaceutical packaging and asks the question “Are you suffering from design headaches?”. Inside the box is a Design Healthcheck sheet that lets you know how we can help you with your design headaches. It also showcases our work, our clients and what they have said about working with us. We have been getting a great response to our mailer and we hope to work with lots of new people in the future.

Screen Yorkshire approached us with a slightly different project to what we usually design for them. They wanted a DVD case producing to hold 5 DVD’s that have all been filmed in the Yorkshire region. As well as designing the sleeve we were asked to source the print and production for 100 cases. With this being such a small quantity we worked with a local digital printer and a box manufacturer to produce the case at a very good price. This was our first piece of packaging design and are were very happy with the results.

Where has the past year gone? It seems like two minutes ago we were writing about our first birthday. They do say time flies when you are having fun. This year we have been busy building on the foundations we laid in the first year with new clients, fresh challenges and a move to our new studio. Thanks again to all the people we have worked with. We have just received the brochure for Brainbox Research back from the printers and are very pleased with the final product. The brochure which is to help promote Brainbox Research and the services that they offer was printed using 9 Lives Recycled Offset stock. National Blood Service are holding the first ever Yorkshire Blood Run on Saturday 29th August at Pontefract Park. We were asked to design a logo for the event and a mailer to attract potential runners. As the National Blood Service need blood rather than money, each runner has been asked to recruit 10 new blood donors instead of the usual sponsorship collection.
